Engage talk: Heroes and Villains of Yelling

  • Huntingdon Library and Archives Princes Street Huntingdon, England, PE29 3PA United Kingdom (map)

The stories of how a few inhabitants of the small village of Yelling stand out in history – for both good and rather more dubious reasons. From an Australian statesman, to a rector whose actions reduced the church congregation to one - and that was his wife!

Speaker John Bownass, a member of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Family History Society.

FREE talk (donations welcome). Adults only.

Booking required. Collect a ticket from Huntingdon Library, or call 0345 045 5225 / email Huntingdon.Referral@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
