Engage: Richard III - Peterborough’s Medieval Monarch?

  • St Neots Library Priory Lane Saint Neots, England, PE19 2BH United Kingdom (map)

Stuart Orme, curator of the Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon will be talking about Richard III. Good King Richard or monster? Richard remains one of England’s most enigmatic and controversial Kings. Was he the monster depicted in Shakespeare’s play or a victim of Tudor Propaganda? The truth, like the man is perhaps more complex and interesting, and what’s more he was born just outside Peterborough!

Free event, donations welcome.

Refreshments served at the end of the talk.

Please book your place by calling into St Neots library, calling 0345 045 5225 or email: stneots.referral@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
