Shining a spotlight on different voices and perspectives, Beyond the Bassline celebrates Black British music as a form of entertainment and a vehicle for community and a source of liberation, protest and education.

The exhibition is inspired by Beyond the Bassline: 500 Years of Black British Music at the British Library, in partnership with the Black Music Research Unit, University of Westminster.
